Terms & Conditions

1. Design Agreement & Payment Schedule

To begin any project, we operate a structured payment schedule:

• First 30% payment confirms your project and commissions our design service. This is non-refundable and covers our time, expertise, and development of your bespoke proposal.

• Second 30% payment is due upon production of your designs, prior to any manufacturing or scheduling. This is also non-refundable.

• Third 30% payment is required prior to delivery of any goods.

• The final 10% balance is payable on completion, prior to handover.

All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Ownership of Designs & Goods

• All designs, drawings, visuals, and technical plans remain the intellectual property of D A Ward Bespoke.

• These may not be copied, shared, or reused without written permission.

• Ownership of physical goods transfers to the client only once full payment, including VAT, has been received.

3. Delivery, Damage & Defects

• Any damage in transit must be reported to us within 24 hours for repair or replacement.

• Goods found to be defective due to our design, workmanship or materials will be repaired or replaced at our discretion.

4. Variations & Special Materials

• Any changes to the agreed design or materials must be confirmed in writing and may impact cost or timeline.

• Special-order or custom materials are non-refundable. If your project is cancelled, you may still be charged for these materials in full.

5. Installation Scheduling & Cancellations

• Once the third 30% payment has been received and delivery is booked, we allocate production and installation resources.

• Changes to installation dates require a minimum of 14 days’ notice.

• Cancellations at this stage may still incur charges based on work or materials already committed.

6. Payment Terms & Late Payments

• All payments must be made according to the agreed schedule.

• Late payments may delay your project and may be subject to interest charges in accordance with UK commercial standards.

7. Warranty

• All fitted furniture includes a 12-month workmanship warranty.

• This excludes any damage caused by misuse, unauthorised changes, or general wear and tear.

8. Copyright & Legal Protections

• D A Ward Bespoke retains full copyright over all designs produced.

• Clients may not use or reproduce designs without permission.

• We are not liable for legal claims unless directly caused by our error.
